Sports Coach

Our exciting company Vara Sports is looking for someone who is passionate about sport and coaching children. We want an enthusiastic sports coach who can motivate and inspire our wonderful children to get active and enjoy sport.

Hours & Days

Tuesday: 12:00pm or 12:30pm start-4:00pm Ellesmere Port School

Thursday: 12:00pm or 12:30pm start-4:00pm Ellesmere Port School
- Delivering high quality teaching and learning in PE across all classes
- Delivering lunchtime activities to encourage children to lead healthy lifestyles
- Coaching our children in a wide range of sports through well attended daily before & after school clubs
- Organising attendance of teams at inter school competitions
- Organising termly intra school tournaments including our successful sports day.

**We need our sports coach to have the following skills**:

- Knowledge and experience of a wide range of sports
- A good communicator and motivator who develops positive relationships with children
- A team player who can work flexibly and reliably
- Highly organised and able to manage time effectively
- An inclusive approach to PE and sport
- A professional manner
- A strong behaviour management is key for this role

Desirable:

- A level 2 or above in any sport or a degree in sport
- One year experience in a school environment
- A driving licence and vehicle is essential
- A online DBS (We will provide you one if you do not have one)

**Salary**: £10.00-£15.00 per hour
