Our exciting company Vara Sports is looking for someone who is passionate about sport and coaching children. We want an enthusiastic sports coach who can motivate and inspire our wonderful children to get active and enjoy sport.

Hours & Days

Every Wednesday ONLY (Potential of more hours)

3:15pm-4:15pm sports coach after school club

Pay £25.00 per session

There will be a chance for overtime during half term and also a chance to gain more hours with Vara as we grow.
- Running a sports club during after school club
- Ensuring all children are engaged, safe and having fun
- Planning sports sessions

We need our sports coach to have the following skills:

- Knowledge and experience of a wide range of sports
- A good communicator and motivator who develops positive relationships with children
- A team player who can work flexibly and reliably
- Highly organised and able to manage time effectively
- An inclusive approach to sport
- A professional manner
- A strong behaviour managementDesirable:

- A level 2 or above in any sport or a degree in sport
- One year experience in a school environment
- A DBS (A new one will be issued if you do not have one)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 5 per week

**Salary**: £25.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Sports coaching: 1 year (preferred)
