**Site HR & Training Assistant**

Permanent, full time - 40hrs per week

Salary £25,000pa

Allpress Farms is the UK’s finest grower and packer of leeks. An opportunity has arisen to join the team as the site HR & Training Assistant. This is an exciting and varied role that will enable the jobholder to develop their HR & training skills to the next level. The role will look after the site training, maintaining skills matrices and training records across the site and co
- ordinating training interventions as required. Carrying out new starter inductions and monitoring their progress during their first weeks in employment is also another key training responsibility. With regards to HR, the jobholder will be the first point of contact for people related matters, providing advice and support to both line managers and employees regarding HR processes, escalating to the HR Manager as required. HR administration and maintenance of the HR system is another important part of the role. Of course, this is just a flavour of the role and not the full remit

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their career within HR as you will be working closely with the HR Manager.
- Previous experience in a HR and / or training role
- Holds, or is working towards CIPD or similar qualification
- Holds, or is working towards a relevant train the trainer qualification
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to quickly build rapport and trust
- Good attention to detail and highly organised
- Pragmatic
- Solutions-focussed
- Ability to work at pace and autonomously
- Highly motivated and self-driven
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment would be advantageous
