Premier Work Support are recruiting for a **Lifting Equipment Technician**. The job is currently based in Edmonton, but will be relocating to a new warehouse in Welham Green this year. The job is a permanent role working 6am to 4pm with weekendovertime as required.

**Duties**:

- Monitor and maintain stock including cleaning, packaging, and repairs to hoists, lifting equipment, cabling, spare parts, and specialist tools
- Check in and out equipment with customers, ensuring all orders are complete, operational and presentable. Log any shortages or damages on returned orders
- Load and unload equipment from vehicles
- Lifting bulky, heavy technical equipment for maintenance and vehicle loading and unloading
- Assist in areas of building maintenance and general upkeep of the facilities as required
- Ensure that all work areas are kept clean, tidy and efficiently organised
- Adhere to company policies including health and safety and confidentiality
- Additional duties and responsibilities as required

Required:

- Clean driving licence
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive and adaptable individual
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic IT knowledge with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook etc.
- Numerate, with basic maths skills and arithmetic skills

Advantageous:

- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment
- Fork lift licence
- Category B Driving Licence
- Previous experience within a rental warehouse or workshop environment
- LOLER / LEEA qualifications and experience of equipment inspection and certification
