Fed-up with the four walls of the office? Keen to increase your daily steps? Then a job in emergency medicine might be the one for you
We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our fast-paced and energetic team as an AMU flow co-ordinator. Our Flow Coordinators spend lots of time on their feet, working on the shop floor, managing bed moves across the ED, AMUs and Specialist medical wards.
Our Emergency Floor is made up of one of the largest Emergency Departments in England, a thriving ambulatory care unit, and over 80 medical assessment beds.
We strive to continuously review the way we work and how care is delivered across our emergency floor. So we need someone who is a logical thinker, who can think on their feet, with organisational and influencing skills who likes a challenge
We are looking to recruit Flow Coordinators who embrace our Trust values.
Applicants for this busy and dynamic role will need to be good communicators, be capable of working under pressure and able to work on your own initiative as this is a demanding role.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Emergency Medical Bed Management Team within the Emergency and Medicine CMG for a 9 month secondment, and we are looking for a motivated, well organized person who loves a busy environment to join us a AMU Flow Co-ordinator.
To co-ordinate and facilitate the effective, appropriate and timely flow of patients through different ambulatory emergency care settings such as GPAU, injuries, children’s and admission areas across the Emergency Floor, monitoring and continuously improving the patients pathway.
This is a challenging role but a friendly working environment in a very busy department, and would suit an individual who would like a challenge and is excited in supporting the CMG in the full utilization of E-Beds.
For more information or an informal discussion please contact Lizzie Hyde
