Revenue Assurance Advisor

**Responsibilities**:

- Investigation and resolution of billed and unbilled accounts
- Monitor customer payments and manage any payment cancellations, payment failures or exceptions
- Identify customers in arrears and have the ability to communicate the collection process, presenting the facts clearly and with confidence whilst negotiating repayment of any debt
- Identify potential energy theft and liaise with customers, third parties and local authorities to establish facts
- Adhere to energy industry regulatory and compliance requirements
- Identify opportunities and make recommendations for process improvements
- Ad-hoc duties as required

**Skills & Experience**:

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Confident and resilient with the ability to take control of every conversation
- Strong problem solving skills
- Excellent observational skills and an ability to challenge a presented version of events
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Professional and friendly approach to work
- Flexible approach to working hours and tasks required by the business
- Previous experience within either a Collections, Credit Control or Billing based role is desirable

**Salary**: £22,500 per annum

Hours: 40 hours, working shifts between the hours of 8am and 6pm Monday Friday
