To provide support, tutorials and coaching for all apprentices requiring additional support in their learning, including learning support, Functional Skills (predominantly maths), apprentices with specific learning differences like dyslexia, dyscalculia etc.

We work with clients such as JD Sports, iProspect, Transport for Manchester and Holland and Barratt plus many more

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Take responsibility for a caseload of apprentices matched via CognAssist, ensuring they engage monthly with their strategies and provide 1:1 remote support
- Ensure monthly intervention reports are completed and developmental feedback meets the ESFA funding rules
- Support any apprentices with specific learning requirements, alongside our Development Coaches, either face-to-face, remotely or using internally created resources
- Deliver tuition according to our Additional Learning Support Policy and English and Maths Strategy
- To prepare and review session plans, scheme of work, individual learning plans and teaching/learning materials using initial assessments and marked work to consider the learners’ individual needs
- Plan and deliver engaging and exciting training sessions to inspire and motivate learners in classroom, workplace, or remote environments
- To improve learners’ experience through providing ongoing support as required
- Prepare learners for examinations to gain the appropriate qualifications
- Continually monitor and review learners’ progress
- Assist in the writing, design, and development of curriculum through planning time and standardisation meetings
- To provide learners with one-to-one support in a contextualised setting
- Undertake necessary training to professionally develop and keep abreast with current practices and legislation within the sector (as required)
- Engaging with quality management processes to ensure that tutorials meet Outstanding OFSTED standards
- To perform any other duties consistent with this position as may from time to time be assigned to you anywhere within the business
**SKILLS REQUIRED**
- Hold a teaching/tutoring qualification
- At least a Level 3 Maths qualification, with experience delivering Functional Skills up to Level 2, preferably with NCFE
- Ability to step in and deliver Functional Skills English when required
- Experience of using bksb and CognAssist platforms desirable
- Skills, knowledge and understanding of the needs of apprentices with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities (appropriate qualification desired)
