About the role
We have a fabulous opportunity for an experienced senior sales professional to join the UK Packaging Division as their Cluster Head of Sales for the South. This role will be responsible for delivering targeted, profitable, and sustainable growth for the region by creating a strong performance cluster, embedding best practice, and nurturing high performing teams, whilst collaborating closely with the regional sales & commercial teams.
This is a key leadership role where you would be accountable for the development of a corporate sales and marketing strategy in line with the regional plan, and implementing this across your region to your Sales and Design and Innovation, functions and in closely working relation with the Marketing and Commercial Operations functions. As part of the UK SMI Leadership team you will be working to develop and drive the implementation of corporate plan projects inline with business requirements, delivery budgetary targets and developing strong customer relationships within our target market at a senior level. This would also involve taking new initiatives to drive the perfect balance between volume and price for our customers.
From a marketing perspective, you would be identifying and engaging new customers as well as developing new approaches to update our customer value proposition in line with market needs.

About you
- Demonstrated commercial, customer experience, and sales leadership skills from previous senior leadership roles
- Demonstrated ability to translate marketing insight into developed growth platforms to achieve profitable and sustainable growth.
- Proven success, knowledge, and experience of commercial experience and strong business acumen at a senior level
- Proven ability to intelligently operate and navigate in a multinational corporation
- Proven ability to grasp, analyse and initiate actions based on strong financial insights and understanding
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management with ability to collaborate and develop strong relationships with internal and external partners
- Drive, determination and resilience with energy, enthusiasm and a can-do attitude and behaviours

Location: This is a full time, home-based role with frequent travel to our customers and offices.
