Location: Remote, UK

As PR & Communication Specialist, you will have the following responsibilities:

- Craft, review, proofread, and coordinate press releases, pitches, and PR materials such as bylined articles, collaborating with Subject Matter Experts for content precision.
- Cultivate relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure coverage and press releases.
- Execute seamless communication throughout Europe in collaboration with the local Yokogawa Marketing colleagues in Europe and at our headquarters in Japan.
- Curate compelling content, including text, images, videos, and infographics, for Social Media Platforms such as LinkedIn, while monitoring performance.
- Monitor and track social media spending against allocated budgets on a regular basis.
- Develop and execute internal communication to ensure consistent messaging and alignment among employees by creating and distributing internal announcements and updates to keep employees informed about company news and initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to generate engaging content in sync with our brand's voice and values, overseeing multimedia production with graphic designers and videographers.

For the PR & Social Media Specialist role, we are looking for a colleague that has:

- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in PR (preferably in the B2B segment) in an international environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with native-level English proficiency (mandatory).
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics.
- Creativity and ability to think outside the box.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with branding, digital marketing, online engagement strategies, and internal communication.
