**Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role**:
This is an Extra Care site, and the age range is 55 & above.

- We like to provide a range of activities like Bingo, chess, we are lucky enough to have a dance studio on site, so we have a lot of the community coming in for dance classes.

How do we like to explore our local communities? Social time put in place for people we support. Explore in and around Chorley.

What types of people would we get along with and not get along so well with? We would have a good relationship with everybody
- A description of our home and what type of house is it? Primrose gardens is an extra care service which we deliver a range of care, Personal care, medication support, help with preparing food, light cleaning duties. Etc. Secure with fob access through to flats. Hairdressers and a dance studio and café Which residents get discount.
- How many stories? We are a 3-story building shaped like a horseshoe. Each floor has a name Snowdrop, bluebell, and Poppy fields
- What is the garden like? The garden is a spacious garden which is wheelchair accessible via the main communal lounge and out the front through a locked fob access gate.

What are the shared spaces within the home and what do we do in these areas? There is a communal lounge which most of the activates take place in. Lobby which has sitting area to sit and talk or watch the world go by. Garden is share however Residents on ground floor have their own little garden as most people will have balconies.

Other information
- How many colleagues are on shift at any one time? There are 3 CIC staff on during day, Mon-Fri 9-5 there is also council staff on premisses. At night Only one CIC staff and One security staff.
- What shifts do you work on? We cover Primrose gardens 24 hours a day. Shift can range from 11 - 12hrs per day depending on the contract
- What do we need from you and what training would we give the staff that join us to be able to support the people at this service to be of their abilities? Training we have mandatory 15 standards of care sector plus etc we deliv
