Job Title: Senior HR Advisor

Location: Renfrew/Hybrid

Exciting Opportunity for a Senior HR Advisor.

We are searching for a talented Senior HR Advisor to join our UKHR team based in Renfrew.

The Senior HR Advisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day HR Operations within the UK business. This position is responsible for ensuring that HR processes and procedures are efficiently executed, compliant with relevant laws and regulations, and aligned with the overall People and organisational strategy. The Senior UKHR Advisor works closely with the UKHR Advisor, HRBP and Payroll Manager to ensure seamless and effective HR operations. The Senior HR Advisor will also participate in HR projects and initiatives that require regular travel to our offsite offices and locations.

This is a permanent position working 37 hours per week (Monday to Thursday 8am until 4.15pm & Friday 8am until 2pm). We offer hybrid working for this role which will allow you to enjoy the balance of home working and collaboration time with the team in our modern, friendly offices which include free onsite parking.

What Needs To Be Done?

HR Process Management
- Oversee the entire employee lifecycle processes, including on boarding, benefits administration, performance evaluations, promotions, transfers, and off boarding.

Benefits and Wellbeing
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Collaborate with external vendors to ensure seamless benefits enrolment and management.

Compliance and Legal
- Stay updated on UK Employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure HR operations are in compliance.
- Implement and monitor policies and practices that promote a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Payroll Coordination
- Collaborate with UK Payroll Manager to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Verify payroll data, including salary adjustments, bonuses, and deductions, to ensure accuracy.

Employee Relations
- Support People Managers in dealing with Employee Relations issues including wellbeing, absence management, disciplinary and grievance matters.

Training and Development
- Support HRBP in delivery of training for UK People Leaders.

Continuous Improvement
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance HR operations through process improvements and technology adoption.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing overall HR functions.

Apprenticeship Programme
- Act as HR Lead for UK apprenticeship programmes - Managing attraction, recruitment, apprentice well-being and development.

Absence Management
- Own Absence process for UK businesses, ensuring managers are supported through full end to end process and any further action is carried out in a timely manner.
- Provide reporting and analysis of absence statistics and costs on a monthly basis.
- To be successful you must have_
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or related field.
- Strong understanding of HR laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
- Analytical mind-set with the ability to use data for decision-making.
- Ability to establish and build sound working relationships.
- It’s a bonus if you have (but not essential).._
- Previous experience of working in a Human Resource department e.g. the use of HR databases and practices
- CIPD Accreditation
