**Workshop Operative - Goods Out Assistant (Monday to Friday 7am -4.45pm**

**Location: Bordon GU35 (we are located on the Bordon Trading Estate therefore please ensure you can commute to this location as public transport is limited)**

**Salary £24,798.00 £26,000.00 per annum depending on experience**

Our premises in Bordon are purpose-built unit. The Workshop is clean, modern with state-of-the-art machinery and we are a friendly and professional team.

**Job brief and skills**

**Your time will be split between assisting with our goods out area and working within the workshop on various processes.**

**Ideally, you will have a forklift licence or be willing to work towards this, you will also be comfortable in using hand tools.**

**Goods Out**

To assist in the smooth operation of our Goods Out working and as part of the Workshop Team. You will be required to move goods manually and with the assistance of a forklift assisting with the loading of goods as required ensuring the safe and timely despatch of goods to our customers.

Due to the nature of the role, you will need a moderate level of fitness so that you can comfortably carry out your tasks safely within health and safety regulations.

Workshop Responsibilities:
You will work as part of a successful team and will be working with various hand tools, gluing, forming, glazing, framing, and wrapping. Experience in a similar role/environment is desirable.

You should have good numeracy skills and the ability to work with production schedules.

Experience/Knowledge/Skills
- Valid counterbalance FLT licence refreshed within the last 3 years (desirable)
- Understanding of warehouse operations
- Good English language knowledge
- Reliability and dependability
- Literacy & numeracy
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role
- Self-motivated
- Upbeat and energised
- Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks
- Team player
