**SMT Operator/Supervisor**

Our customer is a dynamic LED lighting company based in Leeds, distributing to customers across the country, Europe, and North America.

They are currently looking to recruit an experienced, SMT Operator/(Potential Supervisor) who will help run the SMT department on a daily basis with focus on quality, process efficiency, inspection, programming and test activities. This position would potentially suit an experienced SMT Operator who is looking to progress his or her career to the next level.

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge & experience of operating **Juki**pick & place machines is highly preferred (Juki 3010 AL being the current machines we run).
- Knowledge & experience of setting up & operating Dek/GKG printers.
- Good working knowledge of Surface Mount Technology and processes, including hand soldering and re-work techniques.
- Good communication skills.
- Requires some computer skills.
- Pick & Place machine programming and fault finding would be an advantage.
- IPC or other qualifications would be desirable.
- Understand, follow procedures, including ISO9001 requirements and IPC standards.
- Be able to identify electronic components.
- Have a high attention to detail.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
