Working as part of a small but busy payroll function, you will be liaising with the Payroll Manager and employees on a day-to-day basis.

You will be required to manage your workload whilst answering queries from team members and employees.

**In housing you can make a real difference, the role of Payroll Administrator will involve**:

- Assisting with the administration for Citizen’s pension scheme members
- Administration of new starters and leavers and any changes to contributions in the pension and payroll system
- Provide support for auto enrolment inline with auto enrolment legislation
- Assisting with processing and checking of payroll
- Process voluntary deductions, pension contributions and court orders
- Dealing with payroll and pension queries from employees
- Carrying out checks in line with National minimum/Living wage

**As Payroll Administrator** **we need you to have**:

- Experience of administering defined benefits schemes to include processing monthly subscriptions
- Understanding of Auto enrolment
- Experience of processing payroll for large organisations using a HR and payroll integrated system

**We would be **_really_** excited if you have**:

- Experience in dealing with local government pension scheme and/or social housing scheme
