Kitchen Assistant

£250 Signing bonus *terms and conditions apply*

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a kitchen assistant to join our friendly team in our care home for 4 days a week.

Hours are 7.30am to 13.30pm, 4 x days a week on a rota basis over 7 days. This will include alternate weekends and extra days to cover for annual leave and sickness. As such we are looking for a flexible, motivated and dedicated individual who is organised and has a good sense of humour.

Responsibilities include:

- Assisting the cook in food preparation for the day.
- Serving breakfast to our lovely residents
- Preparing and delivering the morning water jugs to the residents.
- Ensuring the cleaning schedule is adhered to
- Ensuring the fridge/freezer temps are monitored and any issues are reported immediately.
- Assisting with putting away food deliveries ensuring effective stock rotation
- Cleaning and putting away used dishes and pots
- Being responsible for understanding Health and Safety requirements
- Develop effective working relationships with both staff and residents in the home

All training will be provided for the position and an in-depth induction will be in place to ensure you are fully equipped for the role.

- Catering: 1 year (preferred)
