Are you an experienced property claims handler looking for a new challenge? We’re looking for an individual to join our project managed adjusting team within our complex claims department. You'll work alongside our adjusters and support staff to manage your own caseload.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Managing a caseload of property based claims from cradle to grave
- Being directly available for all your customers needs, as you will be their main point of contact
- Work closely with loss adjusters and support staff.
- Gathering evidence and investigating in order to resolve your claims.
- Delivering a high-quality service for your customers.
- Arrange appointments and manage diaries.
- Instruct and co-ordinate contractors and suppliers as required.
- To continually improve skill base, including both depth and breadth of knowledge of different services and claims systems
- To uphold Sedgwick values

**You will have/will be**:

- At least 1 year of experience of insurance claims handling
- Experience of handling claims up to around 80K
- Proven customer service skills
- Demonstrable ability to case handle and prioritise your own workload
- High levels of industry knowledge about insurance based perils and procedures
- Flexible approach
- High levels of integrity

**What you will achieve in this role**:

- Based within the claims area of the property department, you will handle a varied and interesting portfolio of claims ranging from escape of water to storm damage up to £50,000 in value._
- Carrying your own portfolio of claims including some complex/high value claims
- Full management of the claiming cycle including repair schedules and contractor management
- Pro-active approach to all claims to get them settled as effectively and efficiently as possible
- Empathetic responses to our customers when they need us the most
- Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure data is collected and collaboration where required
