**Nestlings Eco Nursery is a multi award winning Nursery setting in the Capital of Wales, providing an outstanding standard of nursery care and education in the area.**
We at Nestlings Nursery Ltd, are looking to recruit a highly organised and efficient administrator to assist with a varied range of activities to support the effective running of the business.
The main responsibilities are:
- Day to day financial administration; processing customer payments, organising bill payments, bank reconciliation and accurate record keeping.
- Assisting with the processing and reconciling of the monthly payroll for all employees.
- Supporting our external accountants; answering queries and organising everything needed for yearly accounts.
- Health and Safety; carrying out fire drills and other emergency procedures, testing and monitoring of safety equipment, assisting with risk assessments.
- Building and Fleet maintenance; arranging building, vehicle and equipment repairs and servicing.
- Organising promotional material and events.
- GPDR compliance
**Person Specification**:
**Essential.**
- Experience in a finance based administrative role and confidence with a wide range of associated office-based tasks.
- Superb organisation skills and accurate record keeping with an eye for detail.
- Excellent I.T skills; competent with Microsoft office; Word, Outlook and Excel spreadsheets as well as online systems.
- Experience with Quickbooks Accounting software would be highly beneficial
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and parents.
- Welsh language knowledge a benefit but not essential.
- A positive “can do” and flexible attitude and the ability to multitask and work effectively within a small team environment.
- Strong English and Maths GCSE's
A DBS clearance is required.
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: £9.50-£11.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
