**In the role of Governance Officer your duties will include**:

- Co-ordinate and support meetings
- Minute-taking/ recording decisions/ drafting resolutions
- Co-ordinate and support internal meetings and workshops
- Supporting the recruitment, induction and development of Board members alongside the Company Secretary
- Work flexibly / effectively engage with other members of the team to provide cover to ensure all meetings are managed efficiently if the usual lead contact is unavailable (for example due to sickness, holiday or other competing priorities)
- Administrative support
- Advise colleagues generally on matters relating to Governance processes and procedures

**To be successful in the role of Governance Officer you will need**:

- To have a great attention to detail
- Experience of working effectively within guidelines/procedures
- Keeping information confidential
- Experience of working to deadlines
- Previous experience of working within a Governance related role (desirable but not essential)
- Experience working with Microsoft products
- The ability to work under own initiative
- Be an organised person
- Great communication skills

This is a permanent full time role, on an annual salary of £31,831 - £33,837. With an opportunity for some hybrid working, however, at peak times and to support various Boards and committees, you will spend most of the offices at time in Abergele.
