As a senior member of the EPR team, and one of three Heads of Design, the post holder is responsible for overseeing the ongoing optimisation of the EPR as part of the Trust’s extensive clinical transformation programme. The post holder will be responsible for:

- Develop the EPR strategy and be accountable for the ongoing optimisation of the EPR system across both Trusts, and of the associated benefits realisation plan(s) ;
- Managing, co-ordinating and leading at a strategic level the multi-disciplinary configuration teams, whilst ensuring a consistent approach to the configuration and integration between the modules and across the wider EPR team;
- Working in partnership at a senior level with our partners, Great Ormond Street Hospital and Epic;
- Deputising for the Joint Head of Clinical Systems, reporting to Partnership Board and Trust Board on progress through the compilation of high level management reports;
- Leading departmental, multi-disciplinary and/or large conference style meetings, imparting highly technical knowledge of the supplier’s software, and driving highly technical/knowledge based decisions to deliver robust EPR solutions and enable associated benefits realisation;

4. Analyse and document highly complex information and/or performance data to guide strategy and over-arching plans and/or reporting requirements;
5. Meet regularly with the Joint Head of Clinical Systems and the other Heads of Design and Delivery to track the Team’s progress and to address integration issues that could otherwise become a barrier to successful transformation;
6. Provide line management support to the Deputy Heads of Design & Delivery and deal with any HR issues arising, such as sickness and performance, according to Trust policy;
