**The People Of**:is recruiting a Head of Sales (Financial Services) to join a world-class technology consultancy to grow the portfolio of FS clients. Our client is a leading digital transformation & technology consultancy that designs, delivers& supports large-scale digital transformations for some of the world's largest public and private sector organisations, creating technologies we use every day.

As a Head of Sales (financial services) this a commercial role with a sales focus - the aim to identify new logos & onboarding them into the portfolio of clients. You'll contribute to shaping & delivering the next generation of innovative technology andideas.

**As a Head of Sales (Financial Services), you will**:

- Lead the growth of the practice in the UK, the US, and other key geographies by developing and executing the FS vertical vision - this will involve hunting & onboarding new logos
- Create an industry-wide strategy to generate new and continued repeat business, internally and externally.
- Plan and execute a distinctive industry go-to-market strategy.
- Manage key accounts in strategic accounts in collaboration with the broader team.
- Enhance the client base into a significant strategic asset by developing IP and best practices.
- Develop a true business partnership with clients rather than just a software delivery partnership; expand the company's value chain to maximise its potential.
- Take advantage of existing capabilities, both in the industry and outside of it.
- Provide clients with pragmatic solutions to complex business issues across multiple industries.

**As a Head of Industry, you will have**:

- An established network of contacts - CTO’s, CIO’s and MD’s are primarily the key external stakeholders
- Experience in converting business contacts & leads into sustainable, profitable income streams
- An understanding of a person's strengths, weaknesses, and potential; reading them accurately
- The ability to communicate clearly and effectively through written and oral means, and to present with confidence and impact
- An objective, fact-based approach to solving problems
- The ability to develop and deliver industry insights for clients based on thought leadership
- Values and integrity, speak the truth, have confidence, and set an example for everyone around him
- The ability to influence and persuade a diverse group of stakeholders within a privately owned business
