**Job Summary**:
As a Quality Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our product quality and quality management systems. Ensuring that all processes from raw material, in process production and finished products meet the required standard of quality and safety, and that the product is in compliance with specification according to customer requirements. This position is ideal for someone with some experience in manufacturing quality control who is looking to grow and develop their skills in a dynamic environment. You'll receive an comprehensive training and hands-on experience in Quality with an overview across various departments such as Finance, Customer Support, Production, Purchasing, Sales, Marketing, Operations, HR, and IT; facilitating a thorough understanding of our business operation. As your role develops, you will need to be flexible for occasional travel domestically and internationally throughout Europe, to support with supplier audits.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct routine quality inspections on incoming materials, work in progress, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and address quality issues, providing timely feedback and implementing corrective actions.
- Completing and maintaining the quality documentation and records, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and quality control procedures.
- Support the timely issuance and review of SNCR's to maintain product quality standards and supplier performance expectations.
- Oversee the customer complaints, ensuring prompt resolution, root cause analysis, and implementation of CAPA actions to enhance customer satisfaction and product quality.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance processes and procedures to optimise efficiency and minimise defects.
- Participate in internal audits and inspections to verify adherence to quality and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in line with ISO 9001:2015 by analysing data, identifying areas for improvement, and contributing towards quality targets and objectives.
- Monitor and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of measurements.
- Participation in the H&S committee, assisting with monitoring and assessing workplace health and safety practices to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal risk assessments, whilst collaborating with stakeholders and implement necessary improvements and mitigate risks.
- To support the team with any other tasks commensurate with the role.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in quality control or assurance, is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001:2015 standards) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate quality-related issues.
- Knowledge of ISO 14001:2015 would be advantageous but not essential.
- Having supervisory experience is advantageous but not required.
- Possessing IOSH certification is advantageous but not essential.

Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
