Depot Administrator
Menzies Distribution are looking for an enthusiastic Depot Administrator to support our team based in Carrington. The purpose of this role is to provide general administrative and logístical support services for the overall efficient running of the depot. The position provides key information and support to the management team and will involve collaboration with the Admin Supervisor/Manager.
The Details:
- Salary: £27.735.42k Per Annum / £13.33 Per Hour
- Monday to Friday
- Hours: 07:30-16:00
- 28 Days Holiday Including Bank Holidays
- Free Parking Onsite
- Monthly Pay
What your day will look like/Tasks to Complete
- Working closely with the other members of the team in order to fully understand Customer and Suppliers requirements and expectations
- Dealing with customer enquiries
- Deal with any procurement needs
- Identify opportunities for and inititate continous improvement projects.
- Data Inputting
- Provide timely, quality and accurate management information (Weekly/Monthly)
- General Administration Duties
- Support with any other "ad hoc" administrative tasks
- Prepare and send Transport and Warehouse invoicing to Customers
- Investigate and conclude customer invoice queries
What we need from you:
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office, particulalry word processing and spreadsheet skills.
- ‘Right To Work’ in the UK
- Good communication skills are essential with the ability to express empathy with customers
- Excellent written and verbal skills are essential
- Experience resolving disputes in a fair and calm manner and be able to identify issues, which could potentially become problematic and avoid situations arising
- Good ‘people skills’ for working with a range of colleagues and customers
- A professional manner
