**The role**:
An exciting opportunity to join our Social Media team as a Social Media Content Executive has arisen Our team is growing, and we’re looking for someone to deliver creative content for our global social media channels.

**What you’ll do**:

- Create high quality content for British Airways’ social media channels.
- Help develop and deliver social media plans across bought, owned and earned digital channels and audiences to deliver global PR, media
- Work with various content creators, partners, internal and external influencers to ensure we get the right exposure.
- Up to date with social media trends and able to track reach and engagement results to offer insights that drive decision making.
- Be a brand guardian, focus on maintaining appropriate and relevant communications and demonstrate a deep understanding of our brand
- Build strong relationships within Commercial, Marketing and across BA, continuously networking to draw insights, shape PR and social
- Understanding of the key issues affecting the airline industry and wider news issues

**What you’ll bring to British Airways**:

- Good photography, videography and editing skills and able to create and post outstanding content from concept to publish.
- Excellent communication skills and able to work collaboratively across the organisation.
- Able to work collaboratively and encourage team working across departments.
- High attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Champions innovation and agility.
- Proactive and able to remain calm under pressure.

**Your experience**:

- Proven experience managing social media channels such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn.
- Strong understanding of the social media sector and awareness of trends, products and services that drive value and business growth.
- Previous role in a social media, PR or marketing environment with experience in media and/or social analysis and evaluation.
- Background in running social media accounts with high levels of engagement.
