As our **Quality Assistant** you will support the delivery of the Quality Management System ensuring the highest standards of quality and hygiene are always maintained.

Key activities:

- Support food quality systems monitoring across the Company
- Complete quality checks throughout production run
- Carry out environmental swabbing
- Monitor HACCP
- Chemical titrations & stock count
- Hygiene & Housekeeping audits
- Support Pest Control and site visits
- Support Chemical Supplier and site visits
- Glass & Plastic Audits
- Goods In checks
- Maintain shelf life /sample retention
- Prepare taste panels
- Support with NCR investigations
- Support with trials/projects
- Internal audits
- Engage with and support the positive food safety culture at Snowdonia, including raising any concerns and ensuring the safety, quality, and authenticity of our products.

Attributes and Skills we are looking for:

- HACCP 3 qualification and Internal Auditor qualifications are desirable
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment, or other highly regulated production sector (of particular interest if this is with a Brand or involves understanding export requirements for international customers).
- Understanding of BRCGS version 9
- Integrity and courage to highlight risks or opportunities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Can conduct tests and sampling with accuracy and care
- Presents data effectively
- Create and maintain positive, collaborative, and trusting working relationships across the business
- Manage competing priorities effectively and a can do attitude
- Agile and can adapt to support company growth
- Takes pride in their work and owns activity

You will be required to prove you are eligible to work in the UK as part of our recruitment process.
