Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Transportation Clerk to join our team. As a Transportation Clerk, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our transportation department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has strong organizational and administrative skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the coordination of transportation schedules and routes
- Communicate with drivers to ensure timely pick-up and delivery of goods
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including driver logs and vehicle maintenance records
- Prepare shipping documents, such as bills of lading and shipping labels
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading of goods
- Perform data entry tasks to update transportation databases and spreadsheets
- Assist in resolving any transportation-related issues or discrepancies
- Provide general administrative support to the transportation department as needed

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in using computerized systems for data entry and record keeping
- Strong knowledge of Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail) and QuickBooks is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Previous experience in an office or administrative role is preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.50-£13.75 per hour
