This is an exciting time to join the British Airways People Partnering team as we embark on a journey to transform our colleague experience.

As a Senior People Business Partner, you would lead a team of People Business Partners and work closely with Management Committee (C-suite) members to enhance organisational performance and deliver the People strategy.

British Airways is a business of 34,000 colleagues across 60 different countries and several different bargaining units. Our team of five Senior People Business Partners use their expertise to navigate complexity and guide their teams to successfully deliver the business priorities.

**About the role**
- Partners BA MC members to develop and deliver People Plans in the context of the people strategy and business objectives.
- Delivering quality results, on time and to budget. Build a strong team of People Business Partners; focused on both ‘what’ is delivered, and ‘how’.
- Provides a blend of challenge, support, and space to optimise performance of individuals and the team.
- Constantly review business and people performance, using data driven insight to challenge the status quo. Ensures the three priorities of customer, shareholder and colleague are balanced.
- Ensures our organisational design is optimised, spotting opportunities to transform the way we work, driving step change in performance by increasing our efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborates with members of the People Partnering Leadership team, HR Operations, and centres of expertise to ensure a seamless service is provided by the People directorate.

**About you**
- Resilient, business and customer focussed.
- Experience of working in a complex and matrixed business.
- Experience of supporting a global colleague base (preferred not essential)
- IR experience (preferred not essential)
- CIPD (preferred not essential)
