We are on the lookout for a Yard Assistant to join our busy client in Lancaster. This is a new role for the company due to expansion.

This will be a varied Yard AND administration role, that will at times require you to drive a forklift ( full training given). So, if you have administration experience and, are confident to drive larger vehicles outside this could be an ideal role.

You will be joining a friendly team working in a manufacturing and production environment.

This role starts at 8 am and is Monday to Friday with No weekends or evenings and an early finish on a Friday.

**Your role**
- **Liaising with drivers**:

- **Assisting drivers with collections**:

- **Working in the office to speak to customers**:

- **Filling out all paperwork, forms and imputing data into Excel spreadsheets**:

- **Driving as required**:

- **Using the **Fork **Lift Truck ( full training given)**:

- **Adhering to all Health & Safety regulations**

**Skills and experience you need**
- **Full driving licence**:

- **Confidence to move and drive oversize vehicles**:

- **Confidence to use FLT and shunter**:

- **IT skills including database and Excel**:

- **Excellent attention to detail**:

- **Administration experience in an office preferred**
