**Content Marketing Executive/ Content Writer**

**Purpose of the Role**:
The Content Marketing Executive will be responsible for creating, curating and maintaining compelling multi-channel content across our group digital estate, increasing growth in acquisition via organic sessions and assisting our overall marketing goals. You will support the customer journey with useful, timely and relevant content that aids the attraction, conversion and retention of our client base.

With a solid understanding of SEO, you will guide and own our content strategy, actively analysing and reviewing existing content to identify areas for improvement and deliver on opportunities to fill content gaps that raise our profile in SERP, ultimately ensuring we do more of what works and less of what doesn’t.

You will work with our Senior Management Team and their business units to collate case studies and testimonials that provide social proof of our expertise and how they aid our clients; and support with the on-brand development of presentation decks for events and proposals.

You will be tenacious and keen to deliver quality marketing and willing to get stuck into every aspect of the role.

**Responsibilities**
- Planning and development of our content strategy
- Writing clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
- Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
- Creating and improving on-page content to meet SEO needs
- Uploading content via website CMS
- Coordinate with marketing team to illustrate articles
- Managing stakeholders who are producing content to make sure it’s completed on time
- Ensuring content is signed off for compliance/ legal accuracy where relevant
- Supporting the wider Marketing team with ad hoc projects and ad copy

**Skills and Experience**
- Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to alter tone of voice between B2C and B2B content
- Understanding of SEO and SEM principles
- Good analytical skills and ability to use these to drive quality and impact
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong proofreading/editorial skills
- Ability to absorb and interpret complex topics into user-friendly, readable, engaging articles
- Experience working across a range of digital and print marketing channels
- Knowledge of analytics and SEO tools i.e. Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Analytics, GSC
- Experience of web platforms and tools i.e. Wordpress, Yoast, Instapage
- Confident communication with great stakeholder management
- A self-starter who welcomes accountability
- Strong organisation skills and the ability to flex approach in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant qualification or qualifies by experience (2+ years)
- Experience working in a compliance led environment is beneficial but is not essential

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Monday-Friday

This is a hybrid role : 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH per week.
