Blasting Operative
An opportunity has become available for a Blasting Operative to join a well-established Manufacturing business based in Sheffield. The role will allow you to be part of a team carrying out Blasting & Inspection duties within a manufacturing environment.
Working Hours: 2 shifts (morning 6am-2pm, afternoon 2pm-10pm - All Monday to Friday
**Salary**: £10.76 p/h + 12.5% shift allowance = £12.00 p/h
Benefits: Overtime paid at time & ½, competitive pension scheme, Christmas shutdown, life insurance.
Overview of the role:
As a Blasting Operative you will be responsible for blasting defects from the faces of small medical castings, inspecting and documenting findings and rejecting if they don't meet quality standards.
Skills & Experience required for a Blasting Operative:
- Previous manufacturing experience would be desirable but this is not essential as full training will be given
- Must have a keen eye for detail
- Must be able to work to KPI's in a fast-paced environment
