**Area Sales Manager - Insulation & Heavyside Building Products**

Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Floor, Wall & Roof Insulation

Area to be covered: South (ideally based on the Eastern side)
Remuneration: £45,000 potential neg + 35% bonus of basic salary
Benefits: A4 / Passat level company car & full comprehensive benefits package
The role of the Area Sales Manager - Floor, Wall & Roof Insulation will involve:

- 50% of your time will be spent getting products specified via regional and national housebuilders dealing with technical managers and directors (20+ plots)
- The remaining 50% of your time selling to groundworkers and ground work contractors
- Managing relationships and back selling through independent merchants
- Working alongside other structural/concrete product manufacturers to sell the specialist insulation as part of a packaged system
- Taking over a territory turning over circa £4m
- Dealing with order values ranging from £1k - £100k
- The majority of your time will be spent managing existing relationships with the top 20 housebuilders who the business already work with throughout the UK but developing the regional relationships in this territory
- Work alongside the internal sales support and provide on-site support for larger projects

The ideal applicant will be Area Sales Manager - Floor, Wall & Roof Insulation with:

- Open in terms of what building products you’ve sold
- Ideally have sold to groundworkers or housebuilders (ideally both)
- Would consider something working for a merchant sdealing with contractors for example: Keylite and Jewson Civils
- Ideally have sold a heavyside building product or civils such as: landscaping, paving, concrete, render, EPS, insulations, bricks, blocks, readymix, insulation
- Ideally have a demonstrable track record of selling to and opening up relationships with national housebuilders & regional housebuilders (not essential)
- Smart and presentable in appearance
- Able to sell on a technical basis
- Hungry, enthusiastic and passionate about the products
