**Job Summary**

To provide high levels of attention to detail, excellent customer service and strong administrative support when handling incoming enquiries, primarily for wedding and other events as required to convert into confirmed bookings in line with budgeted target revenues. Duties will include building customer relationships, sending proposals and information to customers, generating contracts, processing payments, working closely with the Events Sales Manger, Executive Sales Manager and Food and Beverage Operations Team. You will also represent the hotel at wedding showcases by forming excellent working relationships with suppliers and potential customers.

It is extremely important that you work as a passionate team member by providing polite and efficient service at all times to maintain the exceptional standard of service and quality that we have at Hope Street Hotel.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Responding to all agent and third party enquiries using venue directories and booking portals
- Logging and following up all enquiries using C&B Advanced Reslynx CRS paying important attention to detail and enquiry conversion.
- Converting bookings through negotiation and strong awareness of budgetary demands.
- Displaying strong and efficient communication skills for incoming sales enquiries ensuring the client receives appropriate information presented to a standard which best represents Hope Street Hotel.
- Carrying out multiple appointments with event organisers and wedding couples to ensure a strong working relationship throughout the booking journey.
- Ability to organise own diary of appointments and work load; work autonomously while maintaining excellent communication to the manager and other team members.
- Processing payments and issuing proforma and invoices.
- Being aware of targets and proactive with up selling.
- Showing efficient, excellent time management and proactive thinking throughout the journey of each booking.
- Communicate all relevant information to operational staff.
- Liaising with external suppliers ensuring good working relationships.
- Ensure all booking correspondence is correctly filed and that all information is updated accurately to ensure booking details are accessible and correct.
- Attend and coordinate material and literature for wedding fairs, liaising with and booking suppliers.
- Maintain consistent feedback internally and externally.
- Produce correct internal event sheets and communication to all departments.
- Post event follow up to gain feedback and encourage repeat business and up-selling.
- Log information and produce reports using Excel and Word.
- To wear appropriate business dress at all times.
- To represent the Hope Street Hotel and The London Carriage Works company brands through attitude, manner and communication.
