Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Tewkesbury is searching for a deadline-driven Production Planner, motivated by the challenge of continuously improving sales forecasts and hitting organisational targets. The Production Planner will organise production according to demand and quality standards. They will also establish that goods are manufactured in an effective way that meets quality expectations along with being distributed to customers on time. The end goal is to ensure the smooth and cost-efficient flow of our production operations is achieved by utilising capacity plans and liaising with key stakeholders such as customer services.

**Hours**:
Monday - Thursday: 8am - 4:30pm and Friday: 8am - 1pm

**Salary**: Competitive

**Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Utilize S&OP system to plan the daily manufacturing orders required to achieve OTD targets (this includes resource and capacity management).
- Continuously improve S&OP system to incorporate into the company’s ERP system.
- Managing the supply chain to ensure that all requirements meet the Company’s needs.
- Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products.
- Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
- Participating in and contributing towards continuous improvement to achieve the company’s strategic objectives.
- Lead daily orderbook reviews to confirm optimal performance of the factory.
- Interact with shop floor management on a daily basis to resolve issues regarding manufacturing efficiencies or to provide additional information as requested from Manufacturing, Customer Service and Engineering
- Develop and achieve departmental/company goals and controls. Make suggestions for improvement in areas of cost reduction, processes, quality and productivity.

**Education and Experience**
- Preferably educated to degree level (or equivalent).
- Experience of planning using ERP system
- Previous experience within a planning role within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to communicate with people throughout the business, both internally and externally.
- Self motivating and able to work on own initiative
- Organized and structured with a good attention to detail
- Able to read engineering drawings
- Customer service experience could be helpful but not essential.
