**Job Title**: Clinical Applications Specialist Cardiology - EDI

An exciting opportunity has recently become available for a Clinical Applications Specialist in our cardiology software portfolio CVIS/ISCV **to join our Enterprise Diagnostics Informatics business (EDI).**

Whether coming from a pure clinical background or having already made the shift into the commercial world, your clinical experience within cardiology, and customer centric approach will be highly valued.

In this role you will have the opportunity to **significantly contribute to growing our EDI business** by implementing solutions and deliver Application Consulting for healthcare customers. You will assist in development of new solutions and consulting methods, and add to the solution design & delivery activities. You will be involved in customer facing consulting engagements that are project-based (v. relationship-based).

This role **covers the UK&I, is remote based (working from home) **and you must be willing to travel and at times support others within the wider team. We are open to applicants based anywhere across the UKI.

**Your Responsibilities**
- Ensuring successful clinical and physician adoption of Philips solutions
- Serves in a consultative role with the customer throughout solution delivery & implementation to provide for a smooth, effective and successful implementation of Philips solutions
- Delivering clinical consulting services which may or may not be in combination with the implementation of a Philips solution
- Participating in the development of new solutions (services and/or product functionality)
- Holding a specialty, or multi-specialty role(s)
- Configuring or managing the configuration of Philips solutions to accommodate Application and/or operational workflow in the customer’s environment
- Conducting workflow analysis and consults on workflow changes that need to occur with the implementation of new functionality or solutions
- Guiding the customer in the testing of workarounds, clinical integration and new functionality of Philips solutions
- Coaching and educating customers in the use of complex situations for multiple solutions
- Analyzing the customer’s existing workflow and facilitates proper change management in the clinical or operational environment, ensures proper testing of the system and establishes a comprehensive training plan to provide for a smooth transition of the solution to the customer
- Attending seminars and training sessions necessary to maintain appropriate level of professional competence and/or licensure
- Filing required reports and consistently complies with all required Philips processes

**To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience**:

- Excellent communication skills
- Full UK driving license
- Flexibility to travel within UK, with occasional travel to Europe
- BSE accreditation (desirable)
- Experience as a Cardiac Physiologist/Sonographer and working in a clinical environment
- Qualification in Diagnostic Ultrasound
- Experience of training/teaching
