**Location: Flexible / Deane House, Taunton**

Taunton Town Council is seeking a responsible and pro-active permanent Personnel Officer to provide support to the day-to-day operation of the HR function in the areas of Recruitment, Pay, Employment conditions, Management information, supporting the training and development of employees, and employee relations all within the legal framework of local authorities ensuring compliance with current legislation.

**Main Purpose of Role**:
The Personnel Officer will effectively co-ordinate and implement effective human resources strategies and processes to support the Council’s Corporate Plan and its aim to be a Council that Delivers: establishing a staff structure that can deliver the ambitions of the Council.
