**What are we looking for?**

Compliance checking and processing NCS evidence and learner data. Processing learner data in order to claim eligible funding, identifying errors where claims cannot be made and supporting wider teams to revolve errors. Take ownership of compliances processes in order to inform the wider business of errors and queries.

Data processing will be accurate and compliant with funding rules and meet the data specification requirements while working towards tight external deadlines. Work closely with delivery and engagement teams to ensure paperwork is completed accurately and processes are followed in order to maintain high quality provision and ensure compliance.

Regular audit activity to identify risks requiring attention to detail and ability to follow processes and work with colleagues to resolve ongoing errors.

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Take ownership and manage a range of compliance processes in order to track paperwork submissions and errors. Inform engagement, delivery and quality teams in order to resolve errors and address non-compliance.
- Complete compliance checks to ensure all evidence is captured and eligible funding claims can be made.
- Rejecting paperwork where processes and rules are not followed, supporting the wider team with resolving these queries. Escalating and communicating with performance managers to ensure efficient working practices.
- Track and monitor NCS funding evidence to ensure all learner evidence is provided in order to make eligible funding claims. Compliance checking all paperwork and identifying errors and ensuring eligibility for funding.
- Ensure all evidence is fully compliant with NCS funding rules and meet the audit requirements.
- Ensure all missing or incomplete documents are referred and tracked with relevant team performance manager for timely submission. High attention to detail in order to identify errors and referral with relevant manager before processing. Using own judgement to determine solutions and interpretations of specific situations, with the support of performance managers.
- Creating files and inputting data to bespoke MI systems ensuring compliance with quality standards and data requirements. Understanding the data requirements to reduce submission errors, support the Data & Funding Manager with resolving data errors.
- Provide training and support to the wider team on government funding rules and compliance paperwork and processes, with support from Data & Funding Manager.
- Complete regular audit activity to check data accuracy and evidence quality, identifying errors and non-compliance. Providing support to resolve errors and improve standards.
- Processing documents and correspondence - including creating, inputting, storing, organising and manipulating data and reports.
- Inputting data to a range of external systems and dealing with any errors.
- Work to tight deadlines in processing all submitted learner/employer evidence.
- Ensure the most current government funding rules and guidance is followed at all time, remain vigilant in regards to sector changes and updates and contribute to paperwork and process updates.
- Proactively prepare for ESFA audit, understanding the expectations and requirements and working towards these on a daily basis. Support Data & Funding Manager with analysis of reports to prepare for audit and ensure eligible funding claims and data accuracy.
- Support Data & Funding Manager to prepare for both internal and external audit of data and learner evidence files.
- Checking data reports to ensure accuracy of information.
- Performing general administrative duties as required.
- Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Supporting the team in team meetings and suggesting improvements to documentation and support the wider team with embedding change and ensuring current rules and requirements are followed.
- Responsible for all learner file archiving in line with company processes.
- Continual review of standard operating procedures, ensuring efficiency and continual improvement.
- Observe Safeguarding and Data Security processes at all times.
- Provide support to the wider ESFA Compliance Team where required. Complete compliance checks and data entry activities, following processes and procedures in place for different contracts.
