Operations Administrator

Job Description
- A vacancy has arisen for an Administrator to provide a wide range of administrative support to Group Operations.
- This is a fixed-term contract of 12 months to cover maternity leave. The successful applicant will be contracted 32 hours Monday to Thursday.
- Responsibilities
- General administrative support for Group Ops, including:
- Coordination of the booking of the New Mills pool car fleet. Associated tasks include the monitoring and coordination of servicing and maintenance, tax and insurance administration, and liaison with external providers (garages, leasing providers, etc.).-
- Raising CEAs, internal orders, purchase order requisitions as requested by relevant managers.-
- Assist with travel plans, booking airport transfers, hotels etc. for visitors, as well as our travellers.-
- Support line managers with efficient on-boarding of new starters including arranging for new equipment and administration of security group access requests.-
- Assisting with room layouts, ensuring hot desks, other communal equipment and meeting rooms are maintained and available.-
- Other administrative tasks as required, helping with e.g. visitors, comms meetings.-
- Managing administration of training content on the company’s learning portal.Key requirements- A good level of written English.-
- Computer literate, including confident use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.-
- Proven ability to learn and use proprietary software systems for HR, learning management, purchasing, or other business processes.-
- A background in administration.-
- Ability to thrive when coordinating a range of diverse tasks.Desirable requirements- Knowledge of Renishaw’s processes and business structure would be ideal but is not required.Person specification- Strong time-management skills to handle and organise multiple work streams.-
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy especially when under time pressure.-
- Comfortable taking on a range of varied and sometimes unfamiliar tasks as required and completing them to a high standard using their own initiative.-
- Remains calm, approachable and professional when under pressure.**Benefits**:
