**Cell Operative**

A vacancy has arisen for a Cell Operative in the Manufacturing department at the Denham site.
- This is a shift position and the purpose of the role is to undertake the setting and operating of CNC machine tools to produce components to the required quality standards and in accordance with required work schedules.**The Package for Cell Operative**:
Working hours:

- Monday-Thursday 08:00 - 17:00 Monday - Thursday
- 08:00 to 12:00 on Friday
- 37.5 hours/ week**Salary**: £30,000 - £38,000/yr DOE**Key Tasks for Cell Operative**:

- To set and operate CNC machines to manufacture components to technical specifications and quality standards.
- Inspect components produced on the cell to the required quality procedures, including 1st offs, last offs, routines and critical dimensions.
- To carry out basic maintenance on machine and tools in accordance with TPM programme and machine manuals.
- To maximise machine output in both manned and unmanned hours.
- To accurately interpret component drawings and relevant information so that Part Numbers, Drawing Issues, Working Tolerances and Surface Finishes can be accurately identified and applied.

**Skills required for Cell Operative**:

- Experience of operating/programming CNC machines and tool setting
- Deburring and milling
- Experience of being able to inspect components in accordance with quality procedures and
- standards.
- Basic PC skills

**Knowledge & Experience for Cell Operative**:

- Machine shop experience
- Able to work to Technical Drawings and specifications
