A financial advice firm, based in North Wiltshire, is looking to expand its advice team by recruiting a Mortgage Specialist to work alongside 2 Investment Advisers and a Commercial Mortgage Broker.
The firm has in excess of 30 years of experience in the same offices and has established an excellent administrative team to back up the advisers.
You will be able to work on a self-employed basis, from the office or remotely, either is acceptable and manageable.
Due to the role being self-employed, with the right contacts and experience, the sky is the limit in terms of earnings
**Are you the right person for the job?**
- You will be qualified to the minimum C-Map level and be able to prove 2 years of experience
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Keen understanding of mortgage underwriting procedures
- Be up to date on economic, product, and market trends
- Outstanding social and communication skills
- Ability to build trust with clients, lenders, and real estate agents
**What will your role as a Mortgage Broker look like?**
- Negotiating with banks and credit lenders to find the best loan solution for the client
- Marketing of services to lenders and real estate agents
- Acquiring new clients and assessing their needs according to their financial information
- Acting as a go-between for lenders and borrowers in need of mortgage loans
- Assisting clients with pre-approval on loans
- Analysing and comparing different home loan options available to the client
- Developing relationships with real estate companies and lending institutions
- Ensuring compliance with banking and financial legislation on the state and federal levels
- Educating clients on their legal and financial options and ensuring that they understand them
- Helping clients complete and understand all the necessary paperwork
