We now have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Graduate to join us.

**Post Overview**:
Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, the primary focus of the role is to take ownership of the weekly costing and processing of worker time and the PAYE payroll process for two companies.

You will have the opportunity to assist the different finance departments within the group which will allow you expand on your skills and experience helping progress your career in finance.

This is a deadline driven role which requires numeracy and a high degree of accuracy.

**Key areas of responsibility and accountability**:

- Provide timely and accurate information
- Collate weekly timesheets to submit a schedule to a third-party payroll provider and process all associated administrative tasks
- Process a PAYE payroll using third party software for two companies and all associated tasks including management of the pension process
- Communicate with various internal and external stakeholders
- Processing a high volume of invoices and payments in line with policies and procedures for multiple entities
- Maintaining integrity of accounts payable accounting data
- Building strong relationships with suppliers and colleagues
- Reconciling records to supplier statements
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies and queries
- Support any other such activity as requested by the Finance Manager from time to time.

**Skills and experience**:

- An accountancy degree is highly desirable.
- Payroll and worker cost analysis experience would be desirable but not essential.
- A desire to work in a fast-paced team environment, with a robust and enthusiastic personality and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- A proactive and ambitious mindset and the ability to take full ownership and work with limited supervision.
- High standards and a desire to develop both themselves and their role over time.
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to engage with stakeholders of all levels across different departments and divisions.
- A high level of computer literacy, in particular Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of the Xpedeon EPR system is an advantage, but not essential.
