Working remotely, in a standalone role, but as part of a team of six HR professionals, you will provide information and advice on payroll relating to both teaching and support staff across sixty primary schools.
Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will have a good understanding of the Burgundy and Green Book Terms & Conditions, liaising with the external payroll provider and Pensions Manager to resolve any queries.
Working closely with the HR Advisors, you will be responsible for the payroll processing for up to ten schools and will provide cover in the absence of any School Business Managers. As part of this remit, you will have an excellent working knowledge in taxcalculations, P45's, holiday and sickness pay. You will have a sound understanding of current payroll law and data compliance.
On a personal note, you will be hardworking, confident liaising with staff at all levels, and can resolve queries quickly and effectively. A good sense of humour is a must

This role may need to work in a school occasionally, therefore flexibility with working hours and a willingness to travel is required, however the role will predominantly be home based.
