Located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, this position reports to the Engineering Manager, Software Development, and will be responsible for the design and development of innovative Personal Protection products and related systems. The incumbent will be a hands-on contributor with demonstrated capabilities in providing technical leadership and is expected to work effectively in a cross-functional team.

**Responsibilities**:
**Description of duties and responsibilities**:

- Drive and support Safety awareness and understanding in the work area and general site with a proactive Safety attitude. Support the business by observing where improvements could be made to ensure high level of safety improvements on site.
- Checking for damaged or missing items and then sorting stock for storage in the warehouse.
- Taking goods to the appropriate storage space - perhaps using loading and lifting gear for heavy goods
- Keeping a careful record of the stock on the warehouse management system, so that it can be located quickly.
- Ensure that products are stored safely and labelled correctly and safely
- Treating merchandise with care and concern at all times
- Preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule. (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Ensuring picks are in line with determination and meet the quantities and specifications.
- Packing products into containers, such as boxes and crates, using bubble wrap or polystyrene chips, and then seal the containers ready for delivery. You will also ensure orders are packaged and labelled correctly to prevent returned orders.
- Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse will also be part of the daily routine.
- Storing and rotating stock according to established procedures
- Reporting and damaged or missing goods to Team Leader(s) or Warehouse Supervisor
- With heavy equipment in operation warehouses can be dangerous places, so following workplace health and safety ruleswill be essential.
- Support requirements for cycle count and assist with warehouse inventory controls activity as per Team leader & Supervisor requests, which typically involves using a hand-held scanner
- Ensuring efficient operations and adhering to operational procedures, rules and schedules
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers

Qualifications:
**What we require from you**:

- Proven working experience as a Warehouse worker
- Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Ability to work in fast paced environment

**Experience / Education**:
1 year in Manufacturing Warehousing

Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent / GCSE Level 4 or above (C+) in English and Math
