Purchase Ledger Team Leader

**Location: Peterborough (Hybrid, approx 3 days in the office)**
Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger professional looking for the next step in your career? Do you enjoy overseeing processes and ensuring accuracy to detail? The role of the Team Leader - Raw Materials has responsibility for day-to-day management of the Raw Materials team. The Raw Materials team post a high volume of invoices each day for which the Team Leader is responsible for the timely and accurate posting of all invoices by the team.
**What you'll be doing**:
- Effectively manage the Raw Materials Purchase Ledger Administrators; day-to-day management; appraisals; holiday management; and managing workload and prioritisation. Ensuring cross training in all areas of the Raw Materials Team to allow for cover in times of absence.
- Management of your own ledgers, tasks and postings ensuring team is supported in achieving their daily goals.
- Continuously focus on ensuring our major Raw Materials suppliers are paid in full and on time. These suppliers are paramount to our success as a business.
- Reconciliations - maintain the Debit Balance, Prepayment, GRNI and F4F reconciliations
- Support the team with daily supplier query resolutions.
- Resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

**What you'll bring**:
- Previous experience of working in a Purchase Ledger function
- Experience of managing a team is not essential but with the right experience to share knowledge in order to successfully lead a team is beneficial.
- Knowledge of financial controls desirable.
- Ability to communicate well at all levels
- Ability to prioritise, manage high workloads and work towards tight deadlines
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
