Street Scene Operative

Matching Staff Solutions are working alongside our established client to find a Street Scene Operative located at Prince Rock Depot. This role is on a contract starting in March until November 2024. Your role will be to keep the city and local environment clean, tidy and adequately maintained.
**Working 4 days out of 5 Monday to Friday - 06:30am - 16:15pm.**
**The Role**
**Your main duties will include**:
- Removal of waste or recycling from residential and business properties and public land/highway in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines.
- Carry out grounds maintenance and cleansing as directed.
- Responsible for cleaning locations where spillages and split bags have taken place.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety in an operational environment.
- Physical skills required to lift, pull and push container bins at periodic times of the day.
- Ability to solve straight forward problems such as access issues or condition of containers.
- Communication skills required to exchange information with both staff and members of the public.
