**Information Assurance Consultant**

Our Information Assurance consultants help clients to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of their organisation's data and information. As well as implementing technical controls, we recommend processes and procedures, which have an equally important role in limiting risk. We support our clients to achieve and maintain information security standards and frameworks, including ISO 27001, PCI DSS, NIST, Cyber Essentials Cyber Security Framework (CSF), and GDPR.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Providing hands-on Information Assurance (IA) consultancy services across a range of requirements for clients.
- Operating as an SME and engaging confidently with clients in your area of Information Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
- Supporting the growth of PGI’s domestic IA consultancy business in line with internationally recognised standards (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, NCSC).
- Delivering PGI’s Data Protection (GDPR), Cyber Essentials Basic, Cyber Maturity, and PCI DSS consultancy work.
- Contribute towards the maintenance of PGI’s own accreditations, including ISO.
- Maintaining personal certifications and keeping up to date with security industry trends and best practices

**On day one you will bring**:

- Demonstrable experience in providing Information Assurance consultancy.
- ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer accreditations are highly desirable.
- Experience in or Knowledge of Cyber Essentials Basic assessments.
- Experience in or knowledge of the PCI DSS standard.
- Experience in or knowledge of GDPR.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and forming risk management policies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to clients.
- Holds a positive approach to problem-solving and possesses the ability to work to deadlines.
