**About Our Client**:
A leading NHS Trust in London.

The Trust is embarking on the biggest programme of clinical pathway transformation it has ever undertaken. 'EHR' is our exciting and challenging programme which aims to transform how we deliver health and care in a way that is both clinically and financially sustainable.

This transformation will be underpinned by the introduction of a comprehensive Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. We are working in partnership with our preferred EHR supplier, Epic, to deliver this transformational programme of work and will have the active engagement of our partners
- ** Head of Programmes - Inpatients**:

- Highly specialist experience of large scale electronic health record (EHR) deployment.
- The Head of Programmes (Inpatient) will deputise for the Deployment Director when required.
- The post holder will report to the EHR Deployment Lead and take the overall responsibility for the delivery of the EHR's design and configuration build to support the successful implementation of Epic within the Programme's timeframe.
- Any delays in the delivery of the Epic configuration and build would adversely affect the programme delivery so tight programme/performance management will be required of the post holder.
- This role is a key senior manager within the EHR Programme Deployment Team.
- The post holder will be responsible for setting the strategy for the core clinical modules and be accountable for the scope and design and configuration build, testing and training of the Epic system.
- The post holder will be managing, co-ordinating and leading multi-disciplinary configuration teams whilst ensuring a consistent approach to the configuration and integration between all Epic modules.
- This will involve providing guidance, ensuring compliance and authority around information standards and quality across the configuration teams and to the wider EHR Programme.
- The role will require the post holder to be confident in giving complex Epic software demonstrations or presenting highly complex information on the team's progress to the EHR Programme Board and other senior meetings, or to those which are significant in size, adapted in a way which makes it easy for the audience to understand.

**The Successful Applicant**:

- Head of Programmes - Inpatients
- Highly specialist experience of large scale electronic health record (EHR) deployment
- Advanced understanding in the delivery of an Enterprise EHR
- Previously managed a clinical or professional role relevant to the Area/Speciality of Programme
- Management / leadership qualification or evidence of structured leadership training
- Managing Successful Programmes - Practitioner (Current)
- Significant demonstrable knowledge of managing complex portfolios and programmes using MoP and MSP approachesEvidence delivering multiple projects to time and budget, including accurate forecasting, regular monitoring and taking action in the event of projected overspend.
- Strong track record with evidence of using technology in innovative ways to enhance business and service performance.
- Evidence of managing large and complex IT infrastructure and IT enabled business change programmes which have led to successful delivery.Evidence in managing compliance to the Information Governance Toolkit and Assurance framework.
- Advanced in risk management and mitigation.

- Band 8D - £46.94 per hour + £7.30 holiday pay per hour = £54.24 per hour
