You will be tasked with supporting 8 individuals aged between 30's - 80's with learning disabilities by performing the standard duties of a care worker (cleaning, preparing food, supporting communication, etc) but also, the people that we support have interests both in and outside of the home so every day will be something new and exciting, this can include things such as short stays away, days out to the beach, dancing at a disco or relaxing with craft supplies, so as you can tell there will be plenty of opportunity to keep things fresh and ensure that you and the people we support enjoy their experience, also, we want to make sure that those we support feel as involved and as much a part of the community as possible to ensure that they feel fulfilled and valued as possible.

What you will need
Preferably a background in the care industry either as a residential support worker, domiciliary carer or line in carer. Although if you've always had a desire to work in the care industry or have supported adults in a different setting please don't hesitate to get in touch as we would love to talk to you.

Location
Just an easy 10 minute walk from both the town center, the home's garden backs onto Collett Park, also if you are taking the bus, it stops right outside
