**About the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort**

We are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant Manager to join our AWESOME team at the UK’s favourite children’s theme park; the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort. The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is the ultimate destination for families with children age 2-12. The Resortis home to two awesome LEGO themed Hotels and a host of rides, shows and attractions built around the iconic LEGO® brick. This role is based at the Windsor theme park, located in 150 acres of beautiful parkland.

The Housekeeping Assistant Manager will form part of a large housekeeping team covering both of our hotels and reporting into the Housekeeping Manager. You will lead a team of Housekeeping Assistants and Coordinators to ensure the highest standards of cleanlinessare achieved throughout the Hotel, take responsibility for KPI targets across the department and maintain your teams training, with a key focus on Health & Safety best practice.

**About the role of Housekeeping Assistant Manager**
- The Housekeeping Assistant Manager will train the housekeeping team on all cleaning and facilities tasks, including delivery of COSHH training, dynamic risk assessments and Health & Safety best practice
- Oversee the Housekeeping staff team daily, manage their performance, follow up with coaching moments and look for new opportunities to recognise high performers
- Working with the Housekeeping Manager to maintain staffing budgets, which will include recruiting new team members according to the operational budget
- Undertake the position of Department Duty Manager, becoming a representative for the department both with internal stakeholders and external guests
- Assist the Housekeeping Manager with consistently monitoring and reviewing the housekeeping operation, suggesting ways to achieve maximum efficiency and guest satisfaction

**Experience required**:

- Have proven experience of working within a large hotel housekeeping environment, ideally within a 4* Hotel setting
- Hands on experience with cleaning, COSHH and Health & Safety best practice within a Hotel environment
- Exceptional communication skills with a willingness to exceed guest expectations, a positive driver for seeking out potential negative feedback and ensuring guest recovery is reasonable and in line with their complaint
- A flexible approach to working hours, with the understanding that our Hotels will operate with overnight guests, at weekends, bank holidays and seasonal fluctuations due to the nature of our calendar
