**Role Summary**:To assist in organising, directing and coordinating the activities of PAYE Drivers, Independent Service Providers (ISP’s), Agency Drivers and the resources necessary for the safe, efficient and economic movement of freight through the Circle Express distribution system.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

Ø Answering inbound calls from customers and Independent Service Providers quickly and efficiently.

Ø Maintaining customer service levels at the highest standard by ensuring a rapid response to their requirements.

Ø Identifying needs and establishing client requirements.

Ø Identifying opportunities to improve service and share with Depot Manager.

Ø Planning optimum utilisation of Independent Service Providers.

Ø Planning optimum utilisation of all company owned vehicles.

Ø Ensuring that regulations regarding hours of work, the operational safety and efficiency of the company and ISP vehicles and other statutory regulations are complied with together with the submission of all necessary forms pertaining to the company’s BSI record system and management reports.

Ø Ensuring mínimal waste of resources and securing value for money especially in the area of subcontractor haulage.

Ø Developing positive relationships with colleagues and team members and supporting the Depot Manager in attaining their goals.

Ø Establishing and maintaining the trust and support of colleagues, Managers and teams.

Ø Obtaining and processing information to enable appropriate decisions to be made.

Ø Ensuring accurate storage and prompt retrieval of information.

Ø Ensuring individuals, teams, Managers and clients are advised of appropriate information.

**Experience & Qualifications**

Ø Understands Health & Safety and Aviation Security protocols.

Ø Knowledge of Logistics and Freight forwarding function.

Ø Ability to handle pressure in unforeseen circumstances.

Ø Flexibility in working hours.

Ø Customer focused.

Ø Good influencing skills.

Ø Procedurally proficient.

Ø Ability to communicate at all levels.

Ø Organised with good planning skills.

Ø Ability to work under pressure in a busy fast paced environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £31,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
