**Job Title**: Office Assistant

**Reporting To**: General Manager’s

**Working Hours**:Weekly rotation - Wk. 1: 8am to 4pm / Wk. 2: 9am to 5pm,

40 hours per week

**Salary**: Meets minimum wage with progression following 6-months probationary period.

**About the company**

A Shade Greener (Boilers) LLP provides domestic gas boiler breakdown cover and servicing plans.

**Job Purpose**

The main purpose of the role is to provide customer service assistance to our existing customers. You will be required to book annual services and engineer appointments following boiler breakdowns as well as taking payments from customers, arranging direct debits, and providing customer information regarding their contract with the company.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Work as part of a team tasked with providing customer service
- Handling of engineer’s calendars
- Handling customer complaints
- Processing payments
- Arranging direct debits and amending payment details
- Arranging payment plans for customers facing financial difficulties
- General administrative duties

**Knowledge and Skills Requirements**
- Experience and knowledge of all Microsoft packages, with a primary focus on Excel
- Ability to work on your own initiative
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver the same levels of standards expected
- Confident telephone manner
- Create accurate spreadsheets and reports if needed

**Ad hoc Duties**

Any other duties, as demanded by the job role and as requested.
