**Role**
Our client, based in Bristol, is looking for an experienced receptionist to join their team on a permanent basis.
As the first point of contact for all callers and visitors, you will answer any queries and guide them to the required facilities or the designated staff member.
**Duties and responsibilities**
- Answering all incoming telephone calls and resolving queries, ensuring accurate, comprehensive and relevant information is provided. Ensure all callers feel valued and prioritised, and where colleagues are not available or point of reference not clear, take messages and provide a follow up.
- Meet and greet all visitors to the building, providing a friendly,professional and welcoming environment.
- Ensure the daily list of visitors is kept in reception and that all visitors sign in and out of the building.
- Keep the reception area well presented, tidy and uncluttered, ensuring the reception administration is up-to-date.
- Ordering office supplies and maintaining office equipment in the reception area.
- Assist the Service Delivery Manager in the day-to-day running of the building to deliver operational activities in line with agreed service levels/management agreements, associated legislation and compliance.
- Provide quality customer service that ensures that a positive impression is given while remaining proactive when faced with problems or queries.
- Organise meeting rooms and tidy when each ,meeting has finished, ready for the next event.
**Skills and experience**
- Previous experience working as a receptionist
- Good IT skills.
- Ability to prioritise own workload and work effectively without immediate supervision.
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent interpersonal and client liaison skills, and a good professional telephone manner.
- Willingness to take on additional administrative duties/responsibilities.
- Ability to work effectively and flexibly as part of a team.

**Education**:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 2 years (required)
**Language**:
- English (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
